PRIVACY POLICY:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally, identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

SECURITY POLICY

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

REFUND POLICY

We will replace or refund you for any container of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to tastingroom@scottocellars.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.

SHIPPING POLICY

By placing this order, you acknowledge that you are 21 years of age or older and that someone 21 years of age or older with proper ID will be available to accept delivery

We recommend shipping on Monday or Tuesday so that most orders will arrive by Friday.  This minimizes the chances of your shipment being exposed to unfavorable storage conditions over a weekend and helps protect the quality of your purchase.  If you prefer a different shipping schedule, please contact us at (209-334-2568 or info@jmcclellandcellars.com).

All orders are shipped via either ship UPS or FedEx Ground.

Note: costs may vary depending on the delivery address.

Restrictions for shipping wines vary greatly from state to state, and we therefore cannot ship wine to consumers in AL, AR, DE, KY, MS, OK, RI, or UT for example. If you are requesting us ship to a limited direct shipping state or to a state requiring a consumer permit you are representing to us that this order is within your legal rights. If there are any issues with shipping to your state we will contact you after receiving your order. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

INTERNET LIQUOR POLICY

WINE, HARD CIDER AND OTHER ALCOHOL BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO PERSONS WHO ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD, AND ONLY FOR PERSONAL USE, NOT FOR RESALE OR TRADE.  BY PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THAT THE PERSON TO WHOM YOUR WINE OR HARD CIDER WILL BE DELIVERED IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD.  RECEPIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FURNISH A GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID PROVING THEY ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND PROVIDE THEIR SIGNATURE.  SHIPPERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE PACKAGES WITHOUT OBTAINING AN ADULT SIGNATURE.  FOR THIS REASON, WE RECOMMMEND USING A BUSINESS ADDRESS IF YOU WILL NOT BE HOME DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I certify that I am 21 years of age or older. An adult 21 years old or older must be present to sign for the package. Packages containing alcohol will not be left at a residential address without an adult signature. You may be subject to additional shipping fees if a package is returned to the winery because an adult was not present to sign.
